The importance of priming the joins of external timber. This is a photo of rotting front stairs in one of our Bardon Renovations in Brisbane. The client asked us to replace these stairs due to their poor condition even though they were not more than 8 years old. When I looked at them it stood out immediately that they had not been primed, a common short cut of poor workmanship. If these stairs had been correctly primed they should have lasted at least 15-20 years. As mentioned in previous news posts, we never take short cuts on good workmanship like priming external timber. Give me a call to see what an award winning builder can create for you.
